About Student Dormitory

After arriving in Japan, students will move into a student dormitory. The dormitory is a shared house with other international students. Students cannot choose their dormitory assignment and should be considerate of neighboring residents.

Utility costs such as electricity, water, and gas used in the dormitory are the responsibility of the student. Please use utilities carefully and conserve energy.

Dormitory Rules & Guidelines

Shared Living Rules

  1. Be considerate of other students and neighbors when talking, using mobile phones, or playing music.
  2. All residents should cooperate in keeping the dormitory clean through regular cleaning.
  3. Religious solicitation or gatherings are not permitted.
  4. Lending or borrowing money between students is prohibited.
  5. Do not post notices or other materials in shared areas.
  6. Keep emergency exits clear and do not leave personal belongings in hallways or shared spaces.
  7. Do not leave bicycles unattended within the dormitory premises or nearby roads.
  8. Do not bring electrical appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, or microwaves without permission.
  9. Do not change dormitories or rooms without school approval.
  10. In case of emergency, contact the school immediately.

Prohibited Activities

  1. Drinking alcohol and smoking.
  2. Holding parties or gatherings.
  3. Any form of gambling or gambling-related activities.
  4. Keeping pets.
  5. Using fire or open flames.
  6. Modifying, damaging, or destroying dormitory facilities.
  7. Removing dormitory property for personal use.

Penalties

In the following cases, students may be required to pay compensation or may be evicted from the dormitory.

  1. Failure to follow the above rules and instructions for improvement.
  2. Failure to pay rent.
  3. Violent behavior.
  4. Causing trouble to other students or neighboring residents.
  5. Providing serious false information or declarations.
